It is with sincere regret that we announce Catalyst 2020 has been canceled. The cancellation is in accordance with our published policy; the Penn Stater Hotel & Conference Center notified us today that they have canceled the event due to Penn State’s social distancing policy related to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Rooms reserved under EnergyCAP, Inc. room blocks at The Penn Stater, The Nittany Lion Inn, and the Hyatt Place have been canceled for you. If you have made airline reservations or hotel reservations at any other properties, please remember to cancel them.

We know that Catalyst is an important training opportunity and we appreciate your interest in becoming a more effective and successful EnergyCAP user. While the next Catalyst conference at the Penn Stater is 18 months away, please consider one of these nearer-term EnergyCAP training opportunities:

  • Regional Training Conference (RTC)—Irvine, CA: November 10–12, 2020
    • Seating limited to 60 attendees
    • Mastery of EnergyCAP Fundamentals certification exam offered
  • Regional Training Conference (RTC)—Orlando, FL: April 13–15, 2021
  • On-site Training: Contact us for more information.

I’m excited to announce another learning opportunity that we’ve been working hard to formulate in the past week. We will offer comprehensive online courses, each bundled with an EnergyCAP Certification exam. More details will be provided soon. The first course and exam will be available no later than August, with other courses to follow shortly thereafter.

If you have already paid for Catalyst, you may find it simpler to apply the payment toward the new online courses rather than receive a refund, in which case you may need to again request budget funds for training. Please contact us to discuss fee transfer and refund options.

We’re disappointed that we won’t have the opportunity to see you in person. We greatly appreciate the opportunity to serve you and your respective organizations and look forward to seeing you at a future event.

Be well.
